Formula 1 si giocherà anche su Xbox360

Rimasta esclusiva per le console PlayStation dal lontano 2002 (quando usci l'unico gioco di F1 per la vecchia Xbox), ora, finalmente, le preghiere di molti utenti saranno esaudite.
I diritti per il gioco di F1 a Sony erano scaduti a fine 2007 e Codemaster ne ha approfittato per accaparrarseli.
Infatti, oggi, è stato annunciato che, nel 2009, verrà rilasciato un gioco di Formula 1 su PC e su tutte le piattaforme di gioco (inclusa quindi anche la nostra Xbox360).
Il gioco userà lo stesso motore grafico di GRID, prossimo a uscire, che assicurerà una grafica degna delle console Next-Gen.
Finalmente gli appassionati di questo sport non saranno più obbligati a prendere una console Sony per giocare a F1.

"The combination of F1's new momentum of expansion and Codemasters' contemporary technology and past experience is the breaking of a new dawn for the sport, on the track and on the HD game screen."

Codemasters Studios has already begun preparations for the major task of creating the new game, by strengthening their team with personnel from the now defunct Sega Racing Studio.

There are 350 people working on the project, which will be based on the EGO Engine that Codemasters has put to good use on the Colin McRae: DIRT and soon-to-be-released Race Driver: GRID titles.
